Job Title: Trainee Damp Proofing and Waterproofing Surveyor
Company Overview: We are a well-established damp proofing and waterproofing company based in Harrow, operating all over London and the south east. Our team is dedicated to providing top-quality services to our clients, and we are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Trainee Damp Proofing and Waterproofing Surveyor.
Job Description: As a Trainee Damp Proofing and Waterproofing Surveyor, you will initially be responsible for providing support to the surveying team in the office. You will learn about the different types of work we undertake and will also spend some days working on sites with our technicians to gain a better understanding of the practical aspects of the job.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Assisting with administrative tasks, such as preparing quotes and invoices, assisting with diary management.
  • Learning about damp and moisture surveys and the causes of damp and water ingress.
  • Supporting and learning from the surveying team on site visits.
  • Spending time on site with our technicians to learn and understand how site work is done.
  • Assisting and spending time with the contracts department.
  • Liaising with clients to ensure that their requirements are met.
  • Learning alongside a senior surveyor to gain practical experience in damp proofing and waterproofing techniques.
Requirements: To be considered for this role, you must have:
  • A keen interest in the construction and property industry.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • A willingness to learn and develop your skills.
  • A full driving licence.
