About the client

• The Management Recruitment Group is recruiting an Interim Building Surveyor for a London based housing provider.

Accountabilities
Assisting this organisation to deliver its ambitious asset investment strategy, accountabilities will include: –

• Carry out surveying activities for housing stock of mixed-tenures
• Carry out assessments for adaptations
• Management of external contractors
• Managing surveying activities for repairs and maintenance schemes
• Management of major works including capital, cladding, building and construction projects
• Carry out party wall surveys
• Provide leadership for housing improvement schemes to help this organisation achieve Net Zero targets
• Liaise with other members of the property department including asset management, building safety and compliance professionals

Candidate Requirements

• Proven building surveying experience within a social housing setting
• Experience of delivering major works building projects
• Surveying qualification such as RICS or CIOB or working towards
• Ideally HNC/HND or degree qualified in a relevant subject or working towards
