Remit
Compass Associates are delighted to be working in partnership with a leading Clinical service provider in their search for Theatre Practitioners to operate within their mobile units across multiple hospital sites. The service, which has provided support for more than 100 UK hospitals since 2000, has conducted over 300,000 procedures in it's manned facilities to date.
The successful candidate will be a qualified RGN or ODP Practitioner with at least 2 years' experience working in a theatre setting. They will be able to cover a range of procedures in either a Scrub, Anaesthetic, Recovery or Endoscopy role although the service would prefer experience within at least two areas. They will be able to effectively manage their work load and understand the key elements of working within a team environment.
A company car or car allowance will be provided along with hotel accommodation, meals while on assignment and an excellent benefits package. A competitive basic salary is available, supplemented by an opportunity to earn a great deal of overtime, with enhanced pay for time worked. As a full time member of staff, you will be entitled to full time hours and an excellent benefits package. The mobile units can cover a range of different specialities including General surgery, Orthopaedics, Urology, ENT, Ophthalmology, Gynaecology, Obstetrics, Paediatrics, Cosmetics and Endoscopy.

Requirements

A professional qualification as either a Registered Nurse or an Operating Department Practitioner

A minimum of two skills to include either Scrub, Endoscopy, Anaesthetics or Recovery preferred

Excellent communication skills

Professional attitude

Minimum 2 - 3 years appropriate operating theatre department experience

Current full driving licence
