Satys Air Livery Ltd are an established aircraft refinishing company, with operations across the UK and overseas.

At our Norwich Airport facility, we require candidates to join our Trainee Aircraft Painting Programme to become Trainee Aircraft Preparation Assistants, which is the starting point to becoming a fully qualified aircraft painter.

We are looking for those who are keen to learn, have a passion for spray painting, and preferably with some previous paint experience. Duties will include all aspects of preparation work i.e. sanding, stripping, washing, cleaning, etc.

There will be a 2 stage recruitment process. The first stage will be initial interviews, successful candidates will then progress to the second stage for a 2 day work trial on site at our Norwich facility. Following a successful work trial, candidates will be selected to join the team at Norwich to begin training towards a Trainee Aircraft Preparations Assistant. This initial training will be approximately 4-6 weeks in duration, which will encompass both practical and theoretical training.

You will need to be flexible in working hours to meet the aircraft production schedule, however normal working hours are 7am to 4pm, 6 days a week. Rate of pay during the work trial and training will be £10.50 per hour, following successful completion of the 4-6 weeks training the hourly rate will increase to £11.00 per hour, plus holiday (up to 28 days per annum and pension contributions).

In addition, following the successful completion of your training period, you will also be offered the opportunity to have a guaranteed hour’s annualised contract. Full details can be obtained upon application.
