Job Description

Canon UK is looking for a Warehouse Administrator to join the Logistics team at the Canon Professional Service Centre – Elstree.

Salary £22,707 - £23,968 depending on experience

Your role as a Warehouse Administrator will require you to enter details of photographic and office printing products into our repair system so that it is clear when and what has been received or dispatched.
You will allocate repairs to our Sub-contractors and Technicians, as well as cover goods in and dispatch duties. There is a requirement to have strong customer service skills as you will be contacting customers with regards to our range of repair services and provide status updates with repairs.

Adopt a positive, professional, and courteous attitude to both internal and external customers taking full ownership of any issues. Working towards defined and agreed objectives and targets relating to individual, team, and department Service Level Agreements (SLA’s).

What we ask

As a Warehouse Administrator you will be responsible for:

  • Customer communication regarding products received via goods in or reception
  • Liaise with customers over the telephone, in writing and at our reception desk.
  • Communicate discrepancies with customer paperwork or product description.
  • Liaise with the workshop, customer service team and other departments to feedback any issues to the customer.
  • Achieving the team’s key performance indicators and service level agreements:
  • Working as part of a team to cover the Goods In, Dispatch areas and repair allocation to the technicians and sub-contractors.
  • Help to ensure the repair turnaround targets are met by booking in all repairs the same day of receipt, Allocating and closing down repairs.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach when working with team members or other departments to achieve the teams/departments objectives and targets.
  • Adapt to new or additional tasks/projects within the logistics team when requested to by the logistics team leader or manager.

Providing high attention to detail:

  • Accurate data entry skills to ensure products are returned to the correct address.
  • Repairs booked into the correct customer account number.
  • Accurate fault descriptions and pricing and repairs closed down using the correct charges and repair types, includes taking payment at our reception desk

  • To have worked previously in a customer focused warehouse environment.
  • With excellent time management skills, you will manage your own workload and work as part of a team.
  • You will need to be computer literate with a good command of email, MS Word and Excel as well as database management. Able to follow Canon processes and procedures.
