Warehouse Operative

Our client, located in Southampton, are seeking a warehouse operative to join their busy store, with immediate effect. This is a temporary booking and a great opportunity for the right candidate.

Details
  • Location: Southampton
  • Monday - Friday
  • 07:30 - 15:30
  • £14.05 per hour

Main Duties
  • Manually sort and place materials or items on to racks and shelves
  • Collect items from throughout the warehouse, prepare and complete warehouse orders for delivery or pickup according to a schedule
  • Carry out warehouse inventory controls via scanner and/or through a computer
  • Performing stock counts and location checks

Skills
  • Organised, efficient and thrive in a fast-paced atmosphere
  • Able to meet the physical demands of the role
  • Flexible and willing to take on a variety of tasks
  • Good team player
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Reliable and dependable
  • Awareness and ability to follow safety instructions and procedures
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills

Own transport preferred but not essential.
