What You’ll Do:
Our Warehouse Operatives are responsible for the loading and unloading of vehicles, plus the sorting and scanning of parcels into cages.
Our depots process anything from 40,000 to 100,000 parcels in a shift. But don’t worry, you won’t be tackling them alone! Team work will be key and there'll be some smart kit to help. You’ll use hand-held terminals (HHT’s), pump-trucks (once you’re trained) and work with clever conveyor systems that deliver parcels to you. You'll then sort them into “collars” for smaller areas and postcodes.
Our Warehouse Operative full-time contracts are 40hrs per week, either working exclusively days/nights or twilight, including some weekend shifts. Full time is any 5 shifts out of 7, rotas are given in advance.
Essential Skills & Experience Required:
Encourage and enable effective partnerships. Part time - 30 hours per week (Mon, Tues, Weds and Fri). Care provided at home or close to home.
They need to have excellent communication skills and be fully experienced in Microsoft word, Excel, and preferably Cerner.
