Job Description
				 An opportunity has arisen to join the Acute Medicine Administration Team. The successful candidate will be based at Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital and will assist with the efficient running of the Acute Medicine Admin Office. 
 You will need excellent communication skills and resilience to clearly communicate with members of the public and professionals. 
 General admin, post, uploads to Mediviewer, clinic and audit admin, G2 transcription/typing, dealing with telephone and e-mail enquiries, IPROC supplies ordering, maintaining databases and processing information. 
 We manage three major locality hospitals at North Tyneside, Wansbeck and Hexham, plus a number of smaller community hospitals and clinics from Tynemouth to Berwick on Tweed, in addition to our state-of-the-art Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital, the first of its kind in England. We also care for people in their homes and provide services from facilities in local communities such as health centres. We give people greater choice and control over their care to help them to live independently at home and avoid hospital admission where appropriate. High quality patient care is at the heart of everything we do and we strive to ensure every single patient and service user has an exceptional experience with us. We have one of the most extensive patient experience programmes of any trust in England. 
 To provide administration and clerical support to the Acute Medicine admin and clinical teams. 
 Have good numeracy and literacy skills as well as good communication and listening skills. 
 Have good organisational skills and have the ability to prioritise work and use initiative to meet deadlines. 
 Work under supervision. Responsible for own time management, planning and organisation of daily duties as designated by Lead Secretary and senior team members, to ensure effectiveness and efficiency of provision of admin service.
