A bit about Marketing, Recruitment and External Relations…
We are responsible for the core range of activities that promote and engage with our external environment and stakeholders. This includes both prospective and current students, businesses and our local community. Made up of Marketing and Communications, Student Recruitment and Outreach and External Relations teams, we work together to plan and deliver key activities that support the University’s ambitions for growth, diversity and an increased profile.
The Student Recruitment and Outreach Team is a busy team whose core focus is the provision of information, advice and guidance to prospective students to help inform their decision-making about higher education. We work in partnership with a wide range of people across the University in the delivery of that information and guidance. This is a new post within the team, and an excellent opportunity for the right person to shape the post to maximise the impact for our applicants.
So, what will the role involve?
We’re looking for a committed, focused and process-orientated team leader with a background in CRM and systems support, to join our busy Student Recruitment and Outreach team. The role focuses on the planning, delivery and development of the University’s CRM system with specific reference to student recruitment and applicant communications. The post-holder will work collaboratively with a range of different teams, notably Marketing, the CRM Team and our Admissions Team.
If you’re experienced in CRM support and enthusiastic about the opportunities it offers within higher education and the applicant journey, then we want to hear from you. As with all roles in student recruitment, you will have the opportunity to get involved in a wide range of different activities alongside your core role – it’ll be a busy and varied post for the right person.
If you’ve got further questions, please contact Vikki McKay, Applicant Services Manager on v.j.mckay@salford.ac.uk for an informal chat.
When completing the application, please aim to address the key elements of the person specification in the application questions.
