Job Description

To carry out assigned tasks, including care of patients, in support of, and supervised by a Registered Nurse / Theatre Practitioner.

This exciting opportunity within the New Cancer Hub in Amersham Minor operations theatres are looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic theatre support worker to take on this exciting role Minor Operations (MOPS) Theatres. There are two purposely built MOPS theatres built to undertake local anaesthetic surgery.

Whilst Amersham is the base site there may be cross site working within the needs of the service.

The successful applicant will

  • Be motivated, enthusiastic and keen to enhance skills and competencies.
  • Be flexible and adaptable
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of the importance of team working.
We have two-tier assessment process for our HCA role. Firstly, you will take a Numeracy and Literacy test. Second, if you meet our standards, you will then proceed to be interviewed by our clinical staff.
