Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic team member to ensure that the smooth successful delivery of event are maintained through proactive and competent planning processes within the Conference and Client Centres UK.

In this role, you will be curating, planning and delivering the day to day running of scheduled meetings and events within Conference and Client Centers, whilst additionally leading the production assistant teams across the London locations. You will be also managing the reservations, planning, meeting room readiness and welcome processes to ensure the highest standard of service is provided to all JPMC internal and external clients, and that the JPMC codes of conduct are observed.

Job responsibilities

  • Support the UK Conference & Client Centre operations delivering immaculate first class service by developing and implementing global operating standards and procedures.
  • Maintain a flexible, "can do" level of service at all times to provide clients with a high quality, consistent product, and to ensure overall safety and security.
  • Be present for and offer on-site support for all planned events; work flexibly to ensure coverage of these.
  • Keep an active overview on the performance of EMS (room booking system) to ensure adequate resources, hardware and business continuity are provided at all times.
  • To attend daily and weekly operations meeting with all key Conference and Client Centre members, to include representatives from the planning, AV, and catering teams, to discuss upcoming events for the following week.
  • To conduct regular inspections of Conference and Client Centre space in order to ensure that it is physically maintained to an exceptionally high standard.
  • To attend pre/post- conference planning meetings as necessary and to offer advice and support as necessary.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Flexibility and ability to work on own initiative and gauge business needs within a fast-paced, diverse environment
  • Professionalism and the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the business
  • Highly organized; ability to handle multiple tasks and apply judgment to prioritize
  • Strong Computer and technology Skills, (MS Office)
  • Excellent communication skills; both oral and written
  • Self-motivated decision maker and problem solver
  • Work comfortably under pressure and observe deadlines

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • A passion for food, beverage, people and service with a knowledge of food trends, demonstratable creativity and first-class service
  • Ability to Identify ways to improve processes/procedures to enhance quality and/or outcomes
  • Demonstratable experience of working on global alignment programs with success
  • Experience in meeting planning and customer service and flexibility to deal with a fast-paced, diverse environment
