Interim Disrepair Manager (Housing)
London

  • Hybrid working pattern
  • C £350 – £400 Per Day (Inside IR35)

About the client
The Management Recruitment Group is recruiting an Interim Disrepair Manager for a London based housing provider.

Accountabilities
Working within this housing provider’s property services department, accountabilities will include: –

  • Management of a team of technical surveyors
  • Implement and act on any housing disrepair protocols including Fitness Of Human Habitation Act and Housing Act
  • Management of disrepair works to ensure high-quality repairs to residents
  • Management of inspections, repairs and maintenance of housing stock
  • Ensure an effective surveying service of housing stock
  • Provide support for disrepair cases as required
  • Contracts management
  • Ensuring good customer service to tenants
  • Manage complaints and general repairs

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven background managing technical surveyors
  • Proven experience managing a disrepairs service
  • Good customer service experience
  • Knowledge of Fitness of Human Habitation Act and the Housing Act
  • Contract management experience within a social housing setting
  • Experience of general repairs and maintenance
