OVERALL SUMMARY

The Commercial Strategy Implementation Manager is required to lead the process of integrating the strategic initiatives as set by the Commercial Strategy Director. This will be in regards to the generation of AUM growth through targeted hiring, acquiring high quality acquisitions and supporting efficiencies within existing Bespoke Investment Management teams.

Additionally they will lead the integration of acquired personnel and/or their assets into the CBAM business model ensuring the smoothest transition possible, ensuring wider business engagement is undertaken. The primary remit for this role will fall within the HNW & Bespoke Investment Management division, though will work alongside the Advice channel to support integrated business where required.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the post offer and acceptance of Bespoke Investment Managers and their support resources to plan, setup and integrate them into the wider CBAM business
  • Support the development of MI comparing actuals against modelled assumptions to not only track the progress of acquisitions & HNW team hires, but to apply actual scenarios to improve assumptions making for a more robust assessment of future opportunities.
  • Lead the communication of key new hire data points to internal support functions to assist in the smooth on boarding of acquired personnel and their assets, considering future hires and their potential impact on CBAM resources specifically budgeting and forecasting requirements.
  • Manage the integration and induction program of future and existing newly acquired personnel and/or their assets into the CBAM business model.
  • Work with the Commercial Strategy Director, Head of HNW and Head of Investment Administration to identify risks and issues relating to the planned integration to ensure robust processes and controls are in place to abide by group policy and procedures, while escalating any issues to ensure there are no barriers to achieving modelled assumptions.
  • Support existing Bespoke IM teams to deliver efficient investment management and client service while promoting organic growth and team planning.
  • Assist in the coordination of succession planning and junior talent management within the Bespoke IM division.
  • Assist the development of the Investment Management Academy program and graduate scheme to assist in the retention of junior talent and the promotion of a tangible career path at CBAM.
  • If required, manage junior team members in order to develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Champion and demonstrate CBAM’s core principles, continuing to ensure a one team, one culture ethos across Bespoke IM, especially as teams grow in size and new talent is developed
  • Actively participate in CBAM’s diversity and inclusion initiatives

Regulatory Responsibilities

  • Ability to demonstrate an understanding of the regulatory framework relevant to the role, whilst practicing effective risk management.
  • Comply with the PA Dealing policy
  • Ensure required training is kept up to date and completed within the set timeframe given by CBAM
