What to Expect
The Inbound Coordinator 3PL Operations will be a key member of the Tesla Northern Distribution organization. This team focuses on efficient and effective Distribution of Service & Energy parts supply to the service centers, vehicle collision repair partners, and Tesla customers, with a focus on Inbound.
The main responsibility of the Inbound Coordinator 3PL Operations is to support the setup and continues improvement of a seamless, compliant, and efficient process of the Tesla -spare parts and -products in relation with the 3PL. A key responsibility for this will be to supervise the inbound performance of Tesla’s local (3PL) warehouse partner. The employee will be also the key contact for its internal team members for continuous improvement approach. The main objective is to ensure Tesla’s performance targets are met by the warehouse partner.
The successful candidate is a professional with knowledge of warehouse operations, continuous improvement, project management, and clear Customer satisfaction focus. This will require the Inbound Coordinator 3PL Operations to work cross-functionally with internal and external partners.

What You’ll Do
  • Works closely with the Tesla internal & 3PL functional departments to ensure KPIs on in – and/or inbound, inventory, packaging, reporting, and/or communication are fulfilled
  • Identifies and creates opportunities to improve performance standards and reduce cost. Support the Associate Manager in the continuous improvement process. And challenge the 3PL accordingly.
  • Monitors KPIs and 3PL activities in assigned areas of responsibility. Create, validate, and maintain SOPs & KPIs for continuous optimization of the warehouse operations
  • Support Claim handling process regarding 3PL operations and carrier deliveries
  • Addresses and ensures immediate action and resolution of discrepancies and performance issues with 3PL on daily operations.
  • Establish and maintain working relationships with all departments and partners that are part of the Product Distribution process.
  • Be the key contact with the Distribution Planning team, challenging inventory strategy. Act as the product distribution point of contact for local Tesla business organizations. Works closely with the operation team and will involve in the day-to-day operations.
  • This position is continuously evolving, and the responsibilities may change over time - this role requires flexibility and the ability to adapt to the evolving needs of the organization
What You’ll Bring
  • Good understanding of warehouse operations and logistics. Previous experience working with international stakeholders in a global operating environment
  • Experience with performance (KPIs) measuring, SOP, and solution processes
  • Spacious users knowledge of a warehouse management system
  • Experience in continuous improvement
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience with inbound operations, preferably automotive, service parts distribution environment.
  • Self-motivated, Customer focused and critical thinker, result-oriented, quick learner, as well as a multi-tasker with the ability to work with ambiguity and in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills in English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software packages (Word, Excel, Outlook)
