Land Surveyor - required to work for my client who are a well-established company that operate all throughout the UK. The company specialise in many different sectors covering all types of Underground Utility, Topographical Surveying, Scanning, Modelling and Asset Data Collection. Due to ongoing expansion and success of the company they are looking to get on board a Land Surveyor to join their team based around the South East area.

The most suitable Land Surveyor will have previous experience using Total Stations and GPS equipment. The role of the Land Surveyor will be to produce topographical and measured building surveys across the country predominantly in the South East. It is desired that the Land Surveyor has previous experience working within a mix of industry's including rail and Highways and construction. Land Surveyor Position Overview

• Working on projects for clients such as clients are National Highways, Balfour Beatty, Morgan Sindall, Costain, TFL. Thames Water, Barhale, Stantec and Morrisons Utilities
• Work on highways, motorways, in city centres, airports, on water and sewerage treatment works
• Responsible for day-to-day management of projects and other surveyors on site
• Undertake investigative land surveys and complete paperwork in accordance with company procedures
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues onsite
• Carry out appropriate quality control checks and issue data to CAD
• Provide technical support to Project Managers and internal staff members

Land Surveyor Position Requirements

• 5 years UK experience working in Land surveying
• Proficient in Total Stations, GPS systems and AutoCAD software
• UK Full Driving Licence
• Some Knowledge of Microstation, Atlas SCC software, LSS
• Happy with some night working and weekend work
• Occasional UK wide travel
• Experience of processing and survey report writing
• Experience across a variety of environments and on complex surveys

Land Surveyor Position Remuneration

• Salary: £29k - £40k (dependent upon experience)
• Company Van, Fuel Card
• Weekend and night work paid at time and a half + rest day
• £25 per night stay away
• Pension up to 6% match
