Chelmsford Theatre has an exciting new opportunity for an experienced and motivated individual to join the team as our new Maintenance Supervisor, within our busy regional venue in the heart of Chelmsford.
This is an interesting and varied post reporting to the Technical & Buildings Manager, assisting with the general maintenance of Chelmsford Theatre, carrying out reactive repairs, planned preventative maintenance, managing contractors and regular Health and Safety checks.
The successful applicant will play a key role in maintaining and future proofing our theatre and ensuring we are presentable and in good working order, to help us in delivering our customer service to all our audiences and users.
Previous practical maintenance experience is essential, and you will ideally have experience of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, minor fault finding, and knowledge of facilities management and Health and Safety legislation.
The successful applicant will possess good communication skills, a flexible attitude and be organised and motivated with the ability to effectively analyse problems and prioritise your workload.
