Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Management Accountant (band 5) in the Financial Management Team at East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust.

The role will entail working within the Financial Management Team at East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust. We are a friendly and welcoming department providing excellent learning and training opportunities.

There will also be a requirement to work closely with members of other Finance functions such as Financial Services, Contracting, the Programme Support Office and Procurement as well as Clinical Divisions as required.

Location: Eastbourne or Hastings, but expected to work across sites, including Community bases. Home working and flexible working patterns

To provide financial and management accounting services to the Trust, with the aim of:
  • Recording financial transactions accurately and ensuring the integrity of the general ledger is maintained
  • Ensuring appropriate financial controls are maintained and adhered to
  • Supporting the production of financial returns and monthly management reports
  • Providing financial input, advice and support to the Trust
  • Conducting standard analysis of income and costs
