Head of Performance Management - Distribution


We are looking to employ a Head of Performance Management to be based in London and to work with us on a full time basis.

The Role


  • Develop a wholistic broker performance view of the business for NB, RN and service levels across all brokers and brands within MRSG.
  • Develop and drive the seamless usage of a distribution scorecard with measurable and meaningful KPIs
  • Develop a data culture of “actionable analytics” across distribution
  • Engage with underwriting and distribution community to provide transparency on MRSG performance as well as broker performance
  • Work with the Chief Distribution Officer to devise incentives to drive profitable growth
  • Develop an agency team with consistent processes across MRSI (UK) to help unlock broker relationships across brands
  • Develop and lead implementation of the capacity strategy of MRSI (UK)
  • Maintain relationships with MRSI (UK) capacity providers
  • Collaborate with senior management team to establish and maintain best practices, standard processes, compliance regulations, and other MRSG policies
  • Help drive forward good Conduct for the business to deliver the best outcomes for customers / policyholders.
  • Understand all appropriate lines of escalation and the responsibilities of the Product Conduct Risk Strategy Group (PCRSG), Underwriting & Claims Sub Committee (UCSC) , ExCo and Board for Conduct Risk.


What we are looking for


An individual with the ability to lead the broker performance, agency and capacity function of MRSG globally. Owing to the nature of MRSG, the successful individual will have oversight and control over a diverse portfolio of various P&C and Specialty classes of business.


Key Skills & Experience


  • Knowledge of market segmentation, performance management, acquisition and multiple distribution models
  • Extensive experience in Distribution/Pricing/Underwriting functions of insurance companies (commercial/specialty focused is preferred), and evidence of working in a position where innovation and process/systems development is required
  • Previous experience in managing similar complex cross-border initiatives
  • Analytical and quantitative skills
  • Excellent presentation, prioritization, and time management skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
