What you'll do

As a Pricing Manager, you’ll be providing input into the development of an analytics strategy that supports our business strategy. This includes identifying performance trends, customer behaviours and commercial opportunities and risks through the application of your quantitative analytical skills.

You'll also be:

• Developing pricing, quality and behavioural assumptions to drive budget, forecasts, and project delivery
• Collaborating with other teams and departments to develop the pricing strategy
• Planning for multiple outcomes in response to changes in the competitive and regulatory environment
• Developing the right settings for credit risk parameters and margin management, and providing your expertise to Scrum meetings

The skills you'll need

To be successful in this role, we’ll expect you to be highly numerate, have a background in the banking industry or a regulated environment and have knowledge of relevant legal policies and regulations.

As well as this, you'll need analytics experience, preferably within financial services, products or segments. Experience in the pricing of savings would be advantageous.

We’ll also expect you to have:

• The ability to analyse and evaluate significant amounts of information to aid decision-making
• Great stakeholder management skills
• Knowledge of how to apply Agile ways of working and risk management
• An understanding of how to apply an innovative approach to data-based problem-solving
• Creative, conceptual and systematic thinking skills to consider the wider consequences of each decision and to deliver creative solutions
