A fantastic role has arisen to manage a team of civil engineers and technicians to deliver a variety of projects within an agreed budget, timescale and to a high quality. This includes communicating with the client and other colleagues as necessary to ensure the brief is adhered to in the delivery of the projects whilst maintaining a positive client relationship. An important aspect of this role is to act as mentor to junior members, providing advice and guidance utilising previous project knowledge.

They operate a hybrid home-office working arrangement and happy to consider flexible and remote working.

What you need to succeed:

• HND or degree level qualification in Civil Engineering.
• Ideally IEng with membership of relevant professional engineering institution.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience
• Competent in foul and surface water drainage design including SUDS
• Competent in preparing drainage strategies and flood risk assessments
• Experience in adoptable infrastructure design and the negotiation of Section 104, 106, 278, 38 Agreements
• Experience in liaising with local authorities and other stakeholders to obtain necessary technical approvals and consents
• Ability to use computer design software packages including MicroDrainage and AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Sound detailing knowledge
• Sound understanding of CDM Regulations and the responsibilities of designer
• Ideally experience of preparing bids
• Ideally line management experience
• Ideally based within commutable distance to Lincoln or Peterborough but will consider candidates further afield (nationally).
