As a Barclays Project Manager – Finance, you’ll work within the Programme Integration Office team in in Group Finance CIO. You’ll be Initially working on the Granular Trial Balance Programme and managing one of the Projects within this programme. Your future PM assignments will be dependent on the overall book of work defined as part of the annual budget process. Group finance to deliver major tech change initiatives across financial control, internal reporting, regularity reporting and cost management areas within Barclays.

What will you be doing?
• Working across workstreams ensuring full delivery within tough regulatory driven timelines
  • Co-ordinating delivery across Finance, Business Analysis and tech development teams
  • Utilising experience working within Finance projects to effectively problem solve
  • Following agreed Project Management governance and reporting principles, effectively manage RAIDs
  • Demonstrating an understanding of strategy set by leadership team and references the strategy in supporting decision making with the team
  • Working independently to elicit, validate and document business requirements and input into solution design where necessary
  • Presenting findings, requirements, and problem statements to Design Authority with supporting documentation
  • Establishing positive relationships with colleagues both inside and outside your team
What we’re looking for:
• Knowledge and Experience of Financial Control Processes and Systems
  • Leadership skill ensuring opinions are listened to and acted upon
  • Skills in systems analysis and business analysis techniques
  • Ability to work collaboratively in large team

Skills that will help you in the role:
• Knowledge of banking services and products
  • Knowledge and understanding of risks, controls, risk management tools and methodologies
  • Knowledge of full project lifecycle processes
  • Excellent communication skills
