Patient Services Administrator | Spire Manchester | Didsbury | Full-Time | Permanent | 37.5 hrs per week | £20,397 per annum

Spire Manchester Hospital is currently looking to recruit for a Patient Services Administrator on a full time and permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team and have a great impact.

Spire Manchester Hospital offers a comprehensive range of specialist treatments in purpose-built private hospital facilities in Didsbury. Part of the award-winning Spire healthcare group, we’re world-class experts offering fast access to specialised and personalised healthcare using some of the latest diagnostic and treatment technologies.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Meet and greet patients in the main reception
  • Maintain and update patient records on the hospital computer system
  • Process payments / collect credit card details both over the telephone and face to face
  • Receive bookings and liaise with internal departments via the telephone
  • Face to face liaison with patients and consultants providing information where requested and making appointments
  • Switchboard duties

Who we're looking for:

  • Previous relevant experience in an administrative support role
  • Experience of working independently and on own initiative
  • Comfortable working to deadlines and ability to work under pressure
  • A real team player
  • Previous experience in healthcare (Desirable)
Working Hours: on a rota basis, for 5 days over 7 with mixed shifts such as 6:30am – 2:30pm, 12pm to 8pm and 7:45am to 3:45pm
Contract Type: Permanent
