About Us
At Action for Children, we believe that every child should have a safe and happy childhood. Last year, we helped more than 600,000 children and families across the UK. We work to ensure their voices are heard and we campaign to bring lasting change to their lives.
About the Role:
Action for Children is working in partnership with Scottish Families Affected by Alcohol and Drugs (SFAD) to develop the Grow Your Own Routes model in the Renfrewshire area. The project has been funded by the Scottish Government's Whole Family Wellbeing Fund, in partnership with the Drugs Policy Division, to deliver 3 Outcomes:
As Service Coordinator, you'll have responsibility for growing and developing this new service which will include the support and supervision of two practitioners and the development of relationships with professionals in the Renfrewshire area. You'll work closely with local schools to encourage referrals into the service and to advertise the service to young people directly. You'll be responsible for monitoring and evaluating the service and work closely with SFAD to ensure their successful model is fully adopted in the Renfrewshire area.
