Job purpose

If ABCA sounds like the right place for you, we would love you to join our team within the Service Department. You will supervise and support the team within you’re designated region as a senior member and by a focal point for engineer issues, support and customer/site targeted queries.

Duties and responsibilities

  • · Direct training and support to new hires within your region.
  • · Identifying skill-gaps and cross-training engineers.
  • · Communicating and ensuring understanding of processes, SLAs and KPIs within the team.
  • · Covering Service Engineer duties where applicable.
  • · Writing reports and proposals
  • · Job auditing engineers on performance and compliance to company standards.
  • · Attending complaint level jobs
  • · Technical support on phone to both engineers and office staff were required.
  • · Completing job Surveys.
  • · Stock takes for engineers as required to ensure van stock is up today.
  • · Engaging with office staff day-to-day regarding scheduling and coordination of jobs.
  • · Ensuring quality standards for all works within the team and highlighting any concerns to Ops manager.

Qualifications and Experience

Essential

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience engineering skills in the industry.

Preferred

  • BS5839 fire design
  • 18th Edition
  • 2391 testing and inspecting.
  • Level 3 Electrical Qualification

Personal Attributes

  • Good knowledge of British Standards.
  • Ability to work both independently, and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain long-lasting relationships with customers.
  • Strong organisation and time management skills – working to customer deadlines.
  • Ability to use own initiative and logical thinking to solve problems.

Other Information

This is a permanent role we are offering based in the South, Leyton.

The rate of pay we are offering is within range £37,000 - £39,000 per annum depending on experience, based on a 40 hour working week.

We will also provide you with a company van and mobile phone
