Job Description

General purpose the service, repair and calibration of all customer owned and hire fleet equipment.

Essential duties and responsibilities

· Service and repair of all HYTORC hydraulic and pneumatic pumps / jGuns / Electric tools / Hydraulic wrenches and all associated accessories.

· Completion of all customer repairs, including the production and processing of all paperwork including function tests, PAT tests and any additional supporting documents. Contacting customers & territory managers where required to discuss service works.

· Calibration of customer equipment & hire fleet and record keeping of recalibration of test equipment.

· Keeping a log of stock control and stock reorder levels.

· USA shipment, including breakdown, coordination, serial numbering and calibration.

· Completing any additional tasks associated with weekly USA shipments and assistance in the warehouse if/where required.

· Warehouse/Workshop maintenance - General housekeeping and tidiness of warehouse / calibration room and surrounding area including a weekly sweep/mop and clean of work benches

· Quality control, to create general checks of hire fleet, customer repairs and USA shipment.

· General administration where required, for example, completion of NCR report and follow up

· Actively participating in workbench meetings whilst generating positive ideas to improve working practise

· Attending site and completing call-outs where required outside of normal working hours.

Health & Safety

To implement and disseminate all appropriate H&S legislation and guidance to ensure that statutory safety regulations and safe practise is complied with relating to technician skills and qualifications

All associated reviews/checks including:

· General housekeeping and warehouse cleanliness.

· Appropriate use of PPE, safety glasses and safety shoes to be worn at all time.

· Adhering to training provided within all working areas.

· Ensuring all items are compliant with HYTORC standards.

· Forklift use.

· calibration equipment

· Storage suitability.

· Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.

· Monthly checks of technician tools and working environment to ensuring good safe working order.

· Carrying out quality inspections where necessary.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
