Summary
The Headteacher and Governing Body of Lever House Primary School wish to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team for a fixed term of 1 year.
The role of the HLTA will be to provide support mainly throughout KS2, providing leadership time and PPA cover across school and will also include supporting individual pupils, groups and classes with their learning.
The successful candidate will fully embrace the ethos and values of our school and have a flexible approach to the role. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic and friendly nature, who has high expectations of all pupils and in our inclusive setting. In essence, we are looking for someone who really wants to make a difference for our hard working pupils and is willing to contribute to our wonderful team.
Pease note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful the salary received will be paid on a pro-rata basis.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has real passion for working with children
- Has excellent reading, writing and numeracy skills
- Understands age related expectations across the primary age range, but particularly at KS2 for all subjects
- Is passionate about developing exciting learning experiences for children
- Has a thirst for developing your own learning and understanding
- Provides effective learning and interventions for classes, groups of children and individual pupils as directed by SLT/the class teacher
- Is committed to team building and working alongside parents and carers
- Is organised, punctual and is committed to good attendance
- Has excellent interpersonal skills and values working as a key member of a team
- Is totally inclusive in approach
- Has the ability to use mobile technologies such as iPads
