Warehouse Operative with Counterbalance

Menzies Distribution are looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative who holds a Counterbalance Licence to join our team. You’ll be working on behalf of Menzies Distribution Solutions Limited and its customers, providing a first class service with our team in Ashton (BS3 2HQ).

What You Really Want to Know:

• The salary for this role is £24,480.00 (£13.08 per hour)
• This is based on a 36 hour working week
• A Counterbalance Licence is mandatory but Order Skill would be a great bonus.
• Security Clearance is required for this position
• 20 days plus Bank Holidays
• The working week is Monday to Thursday 7:30 to 16:00 and Friday 7:30 to 12.30.

A day in the life as a FLT Driver for Menzies Distribution might include any of the following:

• Picking and putting away pallets in the warehouse
• Secure picked product onto pallets for forward transportation.
• Correctly check documentation and delivery paperwork..
• Comply with safe working practices at all times.
• Undertake any other reasonable job instruction to support the supply of a quality service to the customer.
• General Housekeeping Duties.
