This is an excellent opportunity to join our GB Retail business as a Client Service Executive (Hybrid work style).

There are a number of different opportunities across various teams within GB Retail engaging with a range of exciting industry sectors including:

The Role

In this role, you will be responsible for providing outstanding client service and support to new and existing clients operating across a broad range of industries. No two days are ever the same, as our client base encompasses every type of business based in the UK, many of whom also have full global reach and consequently provide a variety of new challenges and opportunities for you to get involved in.

We are seeking candidates with a passion for client service and excellent communication skills. A basic grounding in general insurance would be useful, but you should have proven administration skills and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

We now operate a Hybrid work style which enables you to work from the most appropriate location depending on what you have to do that day. We really enjoy our time in the office meeting clients and catching up with colleagues, but we also appreciate the days we choose to stay at home and work in a comfortable, quiet environment without that commute.

You will be responsible for a portfolio of clients and prospects with accountability for retention of clients and new business development, and you will manage and develop client and Willis Towers Watson relationships and grow the portfolio within the business unit.

The Requirements

  • Experienced knowledge of insurance and insurance markets in order to deal effectively with client needs
  • Preferably working towards Dip CII or similar
  • Proven track record of delivering high levels of client service
  • Ability to service ‘volume’ business to SME businesses in the UK
  • Skilled at building effective relationships, at all levels, with clients, prospects, associates, insurers and external specialists
  • Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Experience of working with and adhering to processes and systems to support client service delivery
  • Strong practical knowledge of strategic account development and appropriate tools to achieve this aim
  • Experienced at new business sales process and track record of converting prospects to clients
