A Team Lead - Systems/Hardware/Electronics Engineeris required within an Advanced Aerospace and Defence Services Organisation. The Team Lead - Systems/Hardware/Electronics will be an experienced engineer and the Team Lead - Systems/Hardware/Electronics will support the design and development of electrical/electronic systems controller products.

Team Lead - Systems/Hardware/Electronics Engineer you will be required to:

• Provide technical and team leadership
• Deliver an electronic development project through to certification
• Planning, allocation and oversight of technical work packages
• Meet deliverables within the project schedule
• Work in conjunction with the project manager
• Work with other technical disciplines (systems, safety, mech etc.)
• Manage and motivate and coach team members as the technical specialist
• Be responsible for technical content and approvals

Team Lead - Systems/Hardware/Electronics Engineer Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

• Engineering degree - ideally with an electronics bias, or relevant experience
• Leadership or Management qualification (desirable)
• Experience in an electronics product development environment
• Professional attitude and a good communicator - both written and verbal
• Flexible, can-do approach who enjoys team leading and management
• Work collaboratively with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple requirements
• Pragmatic and systematic by nature, Self-motivated to see tasks through to completion
• Operated at Senior or Principal Engineer level - Team Leader with People Management
• System electronics architecture design and specification skills
• Experience with programmable based electronics systems
• Knowledge of development of electronics for safety critical applications
• Experience of planning and development phases including audits
• Applied knowledge of Aerospace and Defence standards
• Ideally able to derive and specify hardware requirements
• Some knowledge of power electronics and motor drive design would be derisible
