A Graduate Mechanical Engineer is required to join a growing, niche engineering company that specialise in the design and development of specialist light source equipment. The successful applicant will be working within a production engineering environment alongside senior engineers on operational product designs.

Graduate Mechanical Engineer - What you get to do

• Mechanical production engineering. Such as organising drawing updates, custom modification and product portfolio evolution and improvements.
• Using Solidworks 3D, SAP Business One and other software packages.
• Creating assembly drawings, modifying component parts and creating detail drawings for manufacture.

Skills and qualifications helpful for the role of Graduate Mechancial Engineer

• Experience of designing and drafting utilising Solidworks or another 3D design tool to create components and drawings for manufacture.
• An ability to understand common component manufacturing processes and tolerances and an ability to transfer these into component design.
• A completed degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic or similar engineering discipline is essential.
